Libba is a Digital Journalist and Associate Producer at WBTW News13 in Myrtle Beach.
You can find her reports throughout the week, and watch her every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during her Dish It Out segments on News13 This Morning.
Libba came to the Grand Strand in August 2010 from The University of Georgia in Athens, GA. She grew up in Grayson, GA outside of Atlanta, then went on to major in Broadcast News and Spanish at UGA.
During her time as a Bulldog, she produced, anchored, and reported for the school’s student-run news show, Newsource 15. Libba also worked as a student reporter for WNEG News, which covers Northeast Georgia.
During the summer of 2008, Libba gained valuable newsroom experience as a news intern for WSB-TV in Atlanta, GA.
Although she’s a Georgia girl at heart, Libba loves living by the beach, which is where you can usually find her on a warm, sunny day. She also enjoys meeting new people and listening to a good story, which is one of the reasons she became a reporter.
If you have a story you’d like to share, feel free to contact Libba through email or Facebook.
