Freshman Rebecca Richards squeezed home Kelsey Young in the seventh inning to give the Florence-Darlington Tech Stingers a 3-2 win over Patrick Henry in the first game of a doubleheader.
Patrick Henry won the second game 8-6.
In the first game, Spencer Embler hit a solo home run to tie it 2-2 in the bottom of sixth inning.
Freshman Kayla Wright picked up the save with two strikeouts and a walk in the top of the seventh.
In the second game, Embler singled home Alexandria Simmons to tie it 6-6 in the sixth inning.
Patrick Henry pushed across two runs in the eighth to win it.
Florence-Darlington Tech will host Stanly Community College in a doubleheader today at 1 p.m.
