GEORGETOWN — Braxton Ivey scored a game-high 14 points, and Patrell Rogers added 11 as Wilson defeated Georgetown 48-37 on Thursday to win the Region 8-3A championship.
It’s the second straight region title for the Tigers, who will host Hilton Head on Tuesday in a first-round playoff matchup.
Wilson, which led 21-17 at halftime, outscored the Bulldogs 18-4 in the third quarter.
Tevin Johnson scored 10 points for Georgetown.
