The start of No. 7 Francis Marion's Peach Belt Conference baseball series at No. 5 Columbus State this weekend has been pushed back one day because of the threat of thunderstorms in the Columbus, Ga., area on Saturday.

The three-game series will begin with a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Sunday and conclude with a single game at 1:30 p.m Monday.

The games will be played at Ragsdale Field on the campus of Columbus State University.

FMU (5-3) was tabbed as the favorite to win the 2012 PBC title, while the Cougars (7-0) were picked to finish second.
