Busch, Harvick get probation and $25,000 fines

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - NASCAR has fined Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick $25,000 apiece for their actions on pit road at Darlington Raceway.

The two drivers also were put on probation for the next four Sprint Cup Series races.

The two were punished for a confrontation following Saturday night's race. They had contact on the track that led to Harvick wrecking with teammate Clint Bowyer.

After the race, Harvick waited for Busch on pit road and parked his car in front of Busch. Harvick exited his car, and as he threw a punch into Busch's window, Busch used his car to bump Harvick's car out of the way. It turned and hit the inside wall.

NASCAR did not penalize Tuesday Ryan Newman and Juan Pablo Montoya for their ongoing feud.
