PREP ROUNDUP: Phillips leads Hartsville girls to win

SUMTER —  Jasmine Phillips scored a game-high 26 points, pulled down 11 rebounds and had nine steals to lead Hartsville to a 54-35 girls basketball win over Lakewood on Tuesday.

Hartsville led 19-4 after one quarter and 33-15 at halftime.

The Red Foxes, now 10-6 overall and 4-0 in Region 6-3A play, also got 12 points from Shannon Ashe.

Ashley Godson led Lakewood with 12 points.

Hartsville will host Crestwood, which is also unbeaten in the region, today at 6 p.m.
