Pelicans come from behind for 2-1 win

WILMINGTON, DE – Myrtle Beach plates two in the eighth inning to beat Wilmington  2-1 Wednesday night at Frawley Stadium.

Pelicans outfielder Jared Prince tied the game with an RBI-double in the eighth inning. Chris McGuiness drove in a double later in the inning to take the lead.
 
Myrtle Beach’s Chad Bell went six innings allowing one run on four hits. Zach Osborne (5-2) picked up the win while lefty Jimmy Reyes notched his second save of the season.
 
The Pelicans will get a shot at a series victory and a .500 road trip after dropping four of the first five on this eight-game swing Thursday night at Frawley Stadium. Myrtle Beach sends lefty Miguel De Los Santos (6-3, 3.59) against Wilmington right-hander Michael Mariot (8-4, 3.28) with first pitch for the 2011 finale between these two clubs slated for 6:35 p.m.
