FLORENCE - Preston Dixon’s (78-74) 152 earned him a spot on the all region team and a trip to play in the state tournament at the Furman University golf course Monday and Tuesday.
Dixon was the only Red Fox continuing as the Hartsville golf team finished up its season 11-8 overall, 2-7 in the region, on April 26-27 during the region tournament at Florence Country Club.
The Red Foxes finished fourth behind Sumter, West Florence and Carolina Forest.
