HARTSVILLE – The Hartsville junior varsity soccer team suffered another shutout Monday, this time against Wilson at the Cage. The loss brings the Red Foxes’ record to 0-2 while the Tigers improve to 1-2.
“It wasn’t our day for sure. They were a good team that took advantage of everything,” Red Fox Coach Daniel Tentes said. “It seems like we need to work more.”
“They were hungry for a win,” Wilson Coach Ray Krolewicz said. The score was 4-0 at the half.
The next JV soccer match for the Red Foxes is 6 p.m. Tuesday at West Florence.
Youth Night
The Hartsville Red Fox soccer teams encourage supporters to come out for Youth Night. The varsity girls will play at 6 p.m. followed by the boys at 7:30 p.m. March 26 against conference foe South Florence at the Cage.
If children wear their youth soccer jerseys, they get in for free. They will also get to play at half time of the girls and boys game on the game field in front of a huge crowd.
