DARLINGTON — The Darlington Falcons had two players sign with Feather River College out of California on Friday in Demario Goodson and Quiashon Ross.
Goodson rushed 46 times for 312 yards and five touchdowns at running back for the Falcons during the regular season. He had 36 tackles and one interception in the secondary.
“Demario is a very physcial player at 190 pounds,” Darlington coach Justin Danner said. “His speed allows him to play both corner and safety very well, and he’s a dangerous return man.”
Ross had 21 catches for 392 yards and five TDs at wideout for Darlington during the regular season. He had 15 tackles and a pick at defensive back.
“(Ross) jumps really well and has excellent hands,” Danner said. “I think the biggest thing about him is his speed, though. He and Demario were both members of the track teams, so that’s a big part of his game.”
