The Lake City Panthers won a pair of region games last week to remain at the top of Region 7-3A.
Lake City got 16 points from Corey Baker and 15 from DaShawn Butler to cruise to a 72-55 win over Georgetown on Friday night.
The Panthers needed overtime on Tuesday night to take a 58-53 win over Socastee. Lake City scored on 13 points combined in the second and third quarters, but exploded for 28 points in the fourth period to force overtime. The Panthers then outscored the Braves 6-1 in overtime to take the win.
Lake City (15-1, 4-0) was scheduled to travel to St. James on Tuesday and will head to Myrtle Beach on Friday.
The Lake City Lady Panthers, meanwhile, held Georgetown to 11 points through the first three periods Friday night and finished with a 50-22 Region 7-3A blowout win.
Lake City was led by Shanice Cooper with 15 points, while Sherina Singletary and Lateese Cooper added eight points each.
Lake City also got a 53-28 blowout win against Socastee on Tuesday night. Shanice Cooper again led the Lady Panthers with 13 points, and Singletary chipped in 12.
Lake City (11-4, 3-1) was scheduled to travel to St. James on Tuesday and will head to Myrtle Beach on Friday.
