LAKE CITY — The Lake City Lady Panthers took two Region 7-3A games this week to remain in second place in the region as just one week remains in the regular season.

The Lady Panthers held Socastee to single-digit scoring during three out of four quarters Friday night to take a 45-23 win. Tisheema Elmore led Lake City with 10 points.

Shanice Cooper scored a game-high 18 points on Tuesday to lead Lake City to a 47-40 win over North Myrtle Beach. Lateese Cooper added 10 points for the Lady Panthers.

The Lady Panthers scored a 54-25 non-region win Saturday night against Hemingway behind 17 points by Shanice Cooper. Sherina Singletary and Elmore chipped in 10 points each.

The Lady Panthers (16-5, 6-2) are scheduled to finish the regular season after Tuesday night’s home game against St. James and Friday’s game at Georgetown.
