MYRTLE BEACH -- The day after the signing day circus one of the top junior recruits in the state of South Carolina is ready to make his college decision, a full 363 days before he can put it on paper.
Myrtle Beach High School has called a press conference tomorrow at 3:45 p.m, where quarterbak Everett Golson will verbally commit to a school. Golson has offers to North Carolina, Texas Tech, Michigan and others, but he has not been bashful about letting people know he is a Tar Heel fan.
Golson has also said he wants to go to a school where he can walk-on to the basketball team.
Golson led Myrtle Beach to a state championship two years ago, and then a loss in the state championship game last year. Golson threw 47 touchdowns passes last year, and 44 the year before, which ranks 2nd and 3rd all-time in the state of South Carolina.
