CHESTERFIELD -- Like the team he played for, Chesterfield's Moon Edwards is used to be overlooked because of his lack of size. But he has David Bennett's full attention.
On signing day, Edwards signed to Coastal Carolina. The 6-1, 245 pound defensive end is undersized, but Bennett says that his motor helps him overcome his lack of height.
Edwards is one of five CCU signees who suited up in the Shrine Bowl for South Carolina. Edwards was the Most Valuable Player for Chesterfield his final season. He had 91 tackles, 19 tackles for loss and seven and half sacks his senior season.
