MULLINS -- Mullins High School varsity boys basketball coach Mark Gerald has been selected as an assistant coach for the North-South all-star basketball game on March 20.
Gerald is in his 20th year coaching the Auctioneers and posted a 46-5 record in two seasons from 2007-09. The Aucs currently have a 12-6 record this season and are 25-1 at home since 2007.
Under coach Gerald the Auctioneers basketball program has won a Class 2A State championship along with two Lower State championships in six appearances. He has coached two Class 2A Player of the Year award winners and several All-State and all-star team members.
Camden’s Ron McKie and Brookland-Cayce’s Ricky Bouknight will lead the South boys. The North boys will be coached by J.L. Mann’s Jeff Craft and assisted by Woodmont’s Tim Morris and Berea’s Jeff Harrelson.
The North-South games will be held at North Myrtle Beach High School.
