FLORENCE — Kiley Williams and Angela Salem scored second-half goals but Francis Marion University was unable to overcome a 3-0 deficit and the Patriots lost to Charleston Southern 3-2 on Sunday in women’s soccer action.
Francis Marion (1-10-1) will return to action on Wednesday with a 7 p.m. kickoff at Gardner-Webb University.
Junior forwards Michelle Dennis and Marky Boyce put Charleston Southern (7-3-0) up 2-0 with goals in the fourth and 12 minutes.
