FLORENCE — The Francis Marion women’s volleyball team will host a pair of Peach Belt Conference opponents in the next two days: USC Aiken on Friday at 7 p.m. and Lander University on Saturday at 3 p.m.
Both matches will be played in the Smith University Center and admission is free.
Friday’s match will also feature “Patriot Games” as different FMU organizations will battle each other during the match intermission between games two and three. Saturday is Hawaiian Day and fans are encouraged to wear their best Hawaiian attire. Leis will be presented to the first 130 fans.
Francis Marion (5-6) has dropped it opening two PBC matches, both on the road, and will be looking to even its overall record on Friday against the Pacers (10-4, 2-1). Lander is 9-4 overall and 2-2 in the conference and visits UNC Pembroke on Friday before traveling to Florence.
