The Lake City High School Panthers, 2-0 on their season after defeating East Clarendon, will play host to the Kingstree Senior High Jaguars on Friday night.

Antwon Wallace rushed for 147 yards and a touchdown and Shon Carson added 123 yards on the ground and three scores to lead Lake City to a 69-0 rout of East Clarendon this past Friday night.

The Panthers’ defense limited the Wolverines to only 20 total yards.

The Panthers will honor the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces as well as law enforcement officers, firefighters and EMS during a special ceremony before this week’s football game, which will take place in Lake City.

The pre-game activities begin at 7:15 p.m. on the field and will recognize all active and former members of the armed forces, law enforcement, fire and rescue, and EMS.

All members of these groups who wish to participate will be admitted to the game free with identification, such as uniform, military ID, law enforcement badge, etc.
