Head coach Bryan Carfley and Marion Swamp Foxes continued their winning ways, defeating Aynor on the road Friday night 49-6.
The Foxes are riding a five-game winning streak and remain explosive on offense.
Brian Gillard rushed for 158 yards and two touchdowns along with 88 yards on the ground and three touchdowns from Lue Clemmons in the victory.
Tyheem Johnson added 81 yards rushing for the Foxes along with two touchdowns. Foxes quarterback Ross White also threw a 32-yard touchdown pass to Gillard.
Carroll Norman was the team’s tackling leader with 11 stops.
Marion will play a huge game at home against Dillon Friday night.
The Dillon Wildcats won big in Mullins this past week 41-7.
Tyquan Hayes threw for 182 yards and two touchdowns to lead Dillon, while Antuawn Blue scored off two big plays in the victory.
Aucs wide receiver Cedric Timmons scored the lone touchdown for the team, which found themselves in a 21-7 disadvantage at halftime.
Twin brother Anquawn Blue blew the doors open with a 35-yard interception return in the third quarter, followed by Antuawn’s fumble return for a touchdown.
Desmond Hayes and Delaney Leach also added touchdown runs in the game.
Mullins will host Loris in what is sure to be the biggest game of the season.
Lake View defeated Creek Bridge Friday 46-6. The Warriors will host Green Sea Floyds this week.
Byrnes Schools’ Lee Schurlknight threw for 387 yards and five touchdowns to lead Trojans over Pee Dee Academy 34-22.
Bradley George rushed for 221 yards and two scores to lead the Eagles.
Despite getting caught on big plays from the Trojans passing game, the Golden Eagles played well and applied pressure on Schurlknight throughout the night. Matthew Snipes and Cole McClam were tremendous on defense. While George had a big night on the ground.
Pee Dee travels to Carolina Academy on Friday.
