DILLON — The Dillon volleyball team’s unprecedented streak came to a heart-breaking end Tuesday with a 3-2 loss to Waccamaw in the third round of the Class 2A playoffs.
The Wildcats took a 2-1 lead before falling short in the final two games. Individual scores were 25-23, 24-26, 21-25, 25-23 and 19-17 in favor of the Warriors.

The Wildcats finished the season 18-1, and the graduation seniors received a standing ovation after the game was over, Conn said.
