Coastal Carolina is used to being the favorite. CCU has won six of the last eight Big South Tournaments, and been the top seed in the last three. But CCU proved themselves vulnerable with some midyear losses, and this year they expect the bullseye to be firmly on their backs.
The Big South Tournament begins Tuesday. The bottom four teams will play, and the lowest seeded team left alive will play the top seeded Chants on Wednesday at 11am. CCU closed the year on a nine game win streak, with all of those wins coming at home.
