MYRTLE BEACH – The series finale of a three-game set between the Myrtle Beach Pelicans and Potomac Nationals was rained out Sunday.
No makeup date has been announced. This is the fourth time in the last two weeks the Pelicans have had a game postponed because of rain and the first time at home.
The Pelicans head out to Winston-Salem for their first series of the 2009 season with the Dash on Monday. Myrtle Beach and Winston-Salem open a four-game set Monday at 7 p.m.
Myrtle Beach returns home Friday for the first of three with the Wilmington Blue Rocks.
