FLORENCE — The Florence RedWolves announce the signing of four Francis Marion players to the roster.
Barrett Kleinknecht, Austin Smetana, Preston Shuey and Brandon Forshee all will be members of the RedWolves.
Kleinknecht will be making his second season with the team. Going into this week’s Peach Belt tournament, he is hitting .386 with eight homers and 59 RBI.
Shuey is hitting .337 and has eight homers and 41 RBI this season. Forshe, a releiver is 3-2 in 26 games and leads FMU with four saves.
Smetana has played in 22 games this with a homer and seven RBI.
“I am excited to have another crop of solid players from the well-coached Francis Marion club,” Florence coach Wes Davis said. “All these guys are mature, smart players who will bring stability and experience to the team.”
RedWolves camp
The RedWolves baseball camp will be held June 15-18. Camp cost is $80 and is taught by the RedWolves players and coaches.

Season tickets
There are still a few season box seats available for the 2009 season, cost is $135 for 30 home games. General admission ticket books will be available for purchase starting Friday.
