Mullins guard Stacy Wilson scored 18 points, but it was not enough as the North Carolina All-Star squad scored an easy 106-82 victory over the South Carolina All-Stars at the 2009 Carolinas AllStar Classic at Socastee High School.

South Carolina was led by Robbie Dreher's 23 points, one point off of the Carolinas All-Star Classic record held by four players. Clemson commit and brother of Trevor, Devin Booker tallied 17 points. Georgetown senior Kinard Gadsden-Gilliard poured in 9 points and grabbed 3 rebounds, and Wilson's Shamel Bracket had 2 points.

North Carolina opened a double digit advantage less than five minutes into the contest and led by as many as 21 points in the opening half in cruising to the victory.

Earnest Ross led six North Carolina players in double figures with 16 points. Josh Davis added 15 points, Tom Tankelewicz chipped in with 14 points, Brandyn Curry and Garrius Adams added 12 points each, and C.J. Harris scored 10 points. Davis and Ross each pulled down 10 rebounds, tying a record held by three other players.
