For the first time ever, Marion County basketball fans have an opportunity to witness an historic event. The Mullins Auctioneers (24-3) advanced to the state championship final with a win over Wade Hampton at Dreher High School Saturday. The Marion Lady Foxes (23-2) defeated Silver Bluff at Richland Northeast to advance.
In a rare occurrence, two Marion County teams will take center stage in the Class 2A state championship final, as Marion takes on Pendleton, and Mullins meets up against Southside.
