Mullins boys, Marion girls to play for state titles

What a rush! Mullins Auctioneers fans take to the floor to embrace the thrill of knowing their team is advancing to the Class 2A state championship.

For the first time ever, Marion County basketball fans have an opportunity to witness an historic event. The Mullins Auctioneers (24-3) advanced to the state championship final with a win over Wade Hampton at Dreher High School Saturday. The Marion Lady Foxes (23-2) defeated Silver Bluff at Richland Northeast to advance.

In a rare occurrence, two Marion County teams will take center stage in the Class 2A state championship final, as Marion takes on Pendleton, and Mullins meets up against Southside.
