As a rookie last year, Dustin Johnson played in his first major golf tournament at the U.S. Open.
He finished 48th, but since then he's won two events on the PGA Tour and sniffed the leaderboard at The Masters.
So the Coastal Carolina grad heads into this year's Open with a little more confidence than a year ago.
Johnson has been on Long Island since Sunday practicing at Bethpage Black. Most golfers have talked about how long the course is playing, and that works perfectly for Johnson, who's third on the tour in driving distance.
WBTW Sports Director Matt Lincoln caught up with Johnson on Wednesday to talk about preparations and expectations going into this weekend's tournament.
