COLUMBIA — Steven Neff had four hits, including a first-inning grand slam as the Florence RedWolves defeated Columbia 12-2 on Saturday night.
Preston Shuey also homered and drove in four runs for the RedWolves, who improve to 9-7 and pull into a three-way tie for first place with Wilmington (9-7) and Fayetteville (8-6).
David Haselden pitched six shutout innings to get the win.
Florence is off today and will host Fayetteville on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
