LEXINGTON, Ky. — Hartsville native Jordan Lyles was the losing pitcher in the Lexington Legends’ 3-0 South Atlantic League loss to the Asheville Tourists on Wednesday night.
Lyles worked six innings, gave up seven hits, three earned runs, walked none and struck out 10.
It’s the second time in Lyles’ last three outings that he's reached double digits in strikeouts. In a 2-1 win over Greenville on June 5, Lyles fanned 11 in six innings but got a no decision.
