BISHOPVILLE — Charlie Abbott pitched six shutout innings as Post 1 defeated Bishopville 3-0 in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday at Robert E. Lee.
Bishopville used a six-run second inning to win second gae, 6-5.
In the opener, Abbott struck out two and allowed just three hits in the victory. Keith Branco pitched the seventh to pick up the save.
Tyler Boyd and Michael Wilson each had two hits and solo homers in the fifth inninge. Wilson went 5-for-7 in the doubleheader.
In game two, Dyland Usher hit a two-run homer in the win for Bishopville. Trevor Norris got the win and Wil Newsome got the save.
Matthew Prosser suffered the loss for Post 1.
