COLUMBIA — Columbia’s late offensive heroics led to five runs and the Blowfish beat Florence 7-5 on Monday in Coastal Plain League baseball.
The Blowfish scored three runs in the seventh to erase Florence’s 3-2 lead and tacked on two more in the bottom of the eighth to go up 7-3.
The RedWolves rallied for two runs in the ninth, but that was it.
Davis Masters was 2-for-3 for Florence, while Matt Williams and John Long each had two hits for Columbia.
