HARTSVILLE — Johnsonville's Mattheew Davis is headed to play baseball at Coker College.
Davis was a four-year letterman for the Flashes. An All-Region and All-Pee Dee team selection, Davis batted .405 this season with seven home runs and 41 RBI, while being selected as a Wendy’s High School Heisman winner.
Off the field, Davis was an honor graduate, a Coker College Scholar, a member of the Beta Club and a Diamond Prospects All-Academic member. Matthew also was a Palmetto Boys State participant.
