Prep roundup: Wilson rolls past Hilton Head

HILTON HEADEarl McClary and Brandon Jones combined for 21 points as Wilson won the consolation bracket of the Hilton Head Invitational with a 53-36 victory over host Hilton Head on Monday in boys basketball.
The Tigers also earned the tournament’s team sportsmanship award. Jones was named to the all-tourament team.

MARIONB.J. Goodson scored 22 points to lead the Silver Foxes to an upset win over Latta at the A&J Grant Holiday Tournament at Marion High School.
Chris Daney and Eric Daney followed with 18 and 14 points, respectively for Lamar. Timothy Alexander led all scorers with 25 points for the Vikings. Deshawn Bethea had 17 and Derrick Crawford added 10.

MARIONDeonte Johnson and Corey Moore combined for 34 points as the host Swamp Foxes overcame a huge game from Rakeem Williams to defeat their county rivals and face Lamar in the championship game of the A&J Grant Holiday Tournament.
Williams scored a game-high 29 points for Creek Bridge, and Daquan Williams followed with 18.
