PAMPLICO — Marquez Sparks scored 20 points, and Shaquille Jones added 16 as Hannah-Pamplico cruised past Lake View 76-52 on Monday.

Malik Davis followed with 10 points for Hannah-Pamplico. Quinton Nichols led Lake View with 15 points, and Jordan Miller added 13.

West’s Browning earns honor

West Florence junior tennis player Bobby Browning was awarded the South Carolina Wilton McKinnley Award and Scholarship during a ceremony on Saturday in Myrtle Beach.

The award is given to the top junior tennis player in the state that has shown leadership, sportsmanship, academic excellence and top state rankings.
