Kennesaw rallies past FMU women

KENNESAW, Ga. — Alyssa Nahan scored a pair of second-half goals to rally Kennesaw State to a 2-1 win over Francis Marion on Friday in women’s soccer action.

Francis Marion (0-3-0) will play at Samford on Sunday at 3 p.m.

Senior midfielder Angela Salem scored her second goal of the season to put the Patriots up 1-0 on a cross from senior Jennifer Dyer in the 10th minute.

Mahan scored an unassisted goal in the 60th minute and then the match-winner at 65:44.

Sophomore Casey Durham minded the goal for FMU and registered seven saves.
