Dillon reached the unreachable star in 2008. So what can they possibly do for an encore?
The Wildcats ended a 60 year title-less drought with a 7-6 win over Central. But for almost all of those 60 years it was a championship game or bust, so why would 2009 be any different?
Dillon may be even more talented then last year. They return two electric skill players in twins Anquawn and Antuawn Blue, plus a pair of dangerous runners with Desmond Hayes and Hassan Williamson. The biggest question mark may be the front line of the Nasty Cat defense - Jackie Hayes's crew must replace all four starters.
Dillon has what it takes to repeat, as long as they can find a way to regain that magic that led them in 2008.
