The Mullins Auctioneers and Creek Bridge Warriors participated in the Lake View jamboree this past Thursday after a steady downpour of rain.
However, there were plenty of highlights during the two-quarter exhibition, starting with the Aucs defense.
Linebacker Antonio Anderson was a force, registering two sacks and nearly ten tackles.
Mullins also found some running lanes with running back JimDonovan Reaves breaking for a 70-yard touchdown run to put the Aucs in front 7-6.
It wasn’t quite as easy for the Warriors, who took on Dillon Christian.
After a quick score, running back Matthew Woodberry scored on a 20-yard run to give the Warriors an early advantage. However, Dillon Christian proved to be explosive with 20 unanswered points.
Aynor came out ahead of the host team, leading Lake View by a score of 6-0.
