ANDERSON — Anderson exploded for 10 runs in the first inning and went on to rout Coker 20-4 in the first game of a three-game Conference Carolinas baseball series on Friday.
Second baseman Ryan Saxon 4-for-5 with a homer and five RBI, while senior Blair Carson hit two homers and drove in five runs.
Brady Peele went seven innings and struck out four to get the win.
Jessie Crockett was 2-4 with a home run and two RBI to lead the Cobras, while Brinley Griffin and Trey Lynch were each 1-for-4.
