FLORENCE — Jessicca Shields knocked in three runs in the first game and her former South Florence teammate Tomeakin Wilson knocked in three in the second game to help Tech (19-7, 8-2 Region X) sweep a doubleheader from Stanley Community College on Tuesday, 7-2 and 9-3.
Kayla Boles pitched all seven innings in game one to get the win, giving up just four hits and striking out five.
Blair Warren pitched four innings for the win in the second game, and Boles finished up for the save, allowing a hit and no runs over the final three innings.
Tech plays a doubleheader at Spartanburg Methodist on Friday. The first game is scheduled for a 2 p.m. first pitch.
