HARTSVILLE — Coker snapped a four-game losing streak and swept a softball doubleheader from Erskine on Tuesday, winning 3-2 and 10-2 in the Cobras’ final home games of the year.
In the first game, Haleigh Rogers hit a two-run, pinch-hit double in the bottom of the fourth to give the Cobras (16-17, 8-10 Conference Carolinas) a 3-2 lead.
Starter Sydney Greenwalt, who surrendered both runs in the first, shut the Fleet down the rest of the way.
The Cobras jumped out early in game two and never looked back.
Shelly Catlett (12-9) earned th win, allowing two runs on six hits with five strikeouts in five innings.
Miranda Klees was 4-for-4 with a homer, two RBI and three runs scored to lead Coker offensively.
Brittany Owens and Allie Bragg were each 3-for-3.
Coker plays at Barton on April 15.
