FLORENCE — Laura Jones and Katlyn Howell won in singles and doubles as West Florence cruised past Stratford in the opening round of the Class 4A tennis playoffs with a 7-0 win on Tuesday.
The win improves the Knights’ record to 17-2 on the season.
Laura Jones and Kaitly Howell each brought home singles wins, then teamed for a doubles win.

The Swamp Foxes defeated Timberland by scores of 25-13, 25-22, 17-25 and 25-12 to advance to the second round of the Class 2A playoffs.
Geneika Brantley led Marion with eight blocks, 13 kills and two aces. Gabrielle Favor added 10 saves, four assists, eight kills, and 26 digs.
