HEMINGWAY - The Carvers Bay Bears were totally focused, despite the miserable conditions at their homecoming game Friday, Oct 24. An off-and-on drizzle throughout the afternoon turned into a total downpour and made the field a slippery mudfield. Depsite all this the Bears slogged 256 total yards in the game, taking charge of Creek Bridge 26 - 8.
Because of the miserable weather, the announcement of the Homecoming Queen and her court was postponed until next week.
