The Limestone Saints completed their season sweep of the Coker Cobras with a 3-0 win in Conference Carolinas volleyball on Wednesday night. The win improves the Lady Saints to 12-10 on the year, and 9-3 in the conference, while Coker falls to 2-19 overall, and 0-12 in the conference.
Limestone won with ease winning sets one through three with scores of 25-6, 25-14, and 25-16. With the loss Coker's losing streak extends to 13 matches.
For Coker, Kristin Teets (Columbia, SC), Cynallyhia Indriago (Irmo, SC) and Paige Murray (Kitty Hawk, NC) combined for seven kills, while Trisha Moore (Rock Hill, SC) and Courtney Nelson (Myrtle Beach, SC) combined for 10 assists in the match. Kelsey Carlson (Osweego, IL) had eight digs and Moore had nine digs.
Limestone was led by Sam Flannery with 11 kills, while Nina Milovanovic and Melissa Thomas had six and seven kills respectively. Danielle Seibert handed out 27 assists in the match, while adding four aces, with Chelsea Anthony picking up 11 digs and five aces. Brooke England was the dig leader on the night with 11.
The Lady Cobras will take the rest of the week off for fall break, before returning to action on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Mount Olive.
