The Coker College volleyball team fell in their 2008 Homecoming match the Falcons from Pfeiffer, 3-0.
The Lady Cobras lost by scores of 25-12, 25-7 and 25- **. The win keeps the Falcons Conference Carolinas unbeaten streak alive, moving them to 8-0 in the conference and 14-3 overall, with Coker dropping to 2-15 overall, and 0-8 in the conference.
The loss extends Coker's losing streak to nine matches.
The Falcons showed why they are number one in the conference as they came out swinging early and often taking all three sets of the match with ease.
Leading the way for Coker was Trisha More with 13 assists and 13 digs, while Kelsey Carlson had 13 digs as well. Kristin Keets ) had four kills and Cynallyhia Indriago and Ashley Brooks each had three kills.
For Pfeiffer, Petra Ljubicic was the kill leader with 10 kills, while Brittany Dickens had nine kills. Morgan Liebert handed out 27 assists and had 10 digs, with Brittney Poole picking up 12 digs.
Coker returns to the court on Tuesday, Oct. 7, as they travel to face the Barton Bulldogs at 7 p.m.
