Coker College’s athletic department will once again be hosting its annual Taste of Coker. The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, Oct. 9, from 6-8 p.m. on Coker's soccer field.
More than 30 cooks have already signed up for the event, and all of the proceeds go to purchase uniforms for the school’s 12 NCAA Division II teams.
In addition to the variety of foods, the Coker College Dance Team and the Coker cheerleaders will be entertaining guests. The school will also have a DJ to provide music.
Tickets for the event are $25 per person, $35 per couple or $50 for a family of three or more. Tickets may be purchased from Coker athletes and coaches. For more information, call 383-8068.
