COLUMBIA — The ride to the Class 3A state tennis championship came to an abrupt halt for the Wilson Tigers.
Undefeated heading into Friday’s lower state final, the Tigers were blanked by Hilton Head 6-0 at Lexington County Tennis Center.
Wilson finished the season 13-1.
