PREP FOOTBALL ROUNDUP: Raiders upset Baptist Hill

HOLLYWOOD — Chris Gordon’s 40-yard interception return for a touchdown sealed the win as Hannah-Pamplico scored 28 unanswered points to shock Baptist Hill, 28-7, in the first round of the Class A Division I playoffs Friday night.

Next Friday, the Raiders will travel to face Lamar, 45-20 winners over St. John’s. The Silver Foxes needed a stop on a game-tying two-point conversion attempt to pull out a 14-12 win over Hannah-Pamplico in the team’s first meeting on Oct. 17.

Malik Davis rushed for 120 yards and a score in the win.

Lake View 47, Military Magnet 20

LAKE VIEW — Kentell Kelly scored four touchdowns and Lake View intercepted six passes in a first-round playoff win over Military Magnet.

Kelly scored on runs of 5 and 3 yards and had a pair of 2-yard scores.

Quandon Christian, who scored on a 54-yard run, finished with 126 yards on 11 carries.

Kendrick Whittington had two of Lake View’s interceptions.
