JOHNSONVILLEJohnsonville is one win away from the Class A state volleyball championship.
The Flashes swept three games from Academic Magnet by scores of 25-22, 25-9 and 25-21 to win the lower state title.
“They’re super excited,” Johnsonville coach Tracie LeBherz said. “They’re pumped up and ready to go.”
Lindsey Powell recorded nine aces to lead the Flashes. Latima Hanna had 13 assists.

KILLS — Rachel Cribb 7, Savannah Gaster 6, Keyarah Turner 5.
BLOCKS — Savannah Gaster 4.
ASSISTS — Morgan Owens 15.
DIGS — Latima Hanna 13, Taylor Bennett 11.

NEXT MATCH: Johnsonville heads to Columbia to play the winner of Landrum/Southside Christian on Saturday at 11 a.m. at White Knoll High School.
