AIKEN — The Wilson girls tennis team is going to the Class 3A lower state finals.
Brittany Davis and Whitney Timmons’ win in doubles clinched the 4-3 victory over South Aiken on Tuesday as the Tigers advanced to the lower state final for the first time.
Wilson will play Hilton Head, which beat Myrtle Beach 5-1, on Friday at 6 p.m. in Lexington.
The Tigers won three of the four matches in tiebreaks.
