JAMES ISLAND — South Florence’s Matt Humphries finished first overall with a time of 16:38 at the Class 4A lower state cross country meet at James Island County Park.
With the win, Humphries qualifies for the state meet Saturday in Columbia. The Bruins girls and boys teams did not quailfy for the state meet.
