The 17th-ranked doubles team of Magdalena Ekert and Katerina Jiskrova gave Lynn a 1-0 advantage with an 8-1 win at the No. 2 position. That was followed by the fourth-ranked duo of Victoria Weltz and Alexandra Schunk defeating Francis Marion’s 20th-ranked doubles team of seniors Sarka Vitkova and Jenny Ludwig 8-1 at the No. 1 spot.
Lynn claimed a much tighter 8-6 win at No. 3, handing Tereza Sykorova and Magda Jezovicova only their second loss in 26 decisions this season.
The Knights closed the match with straight-set wins by Alisson Siaci at No. 4 (6-0, 6-0 over Klara Vitkova) and by Ekert at No. 5 (6-2, 6-1 over Valeska Ibscher).
